考题：Form 5 Poem- A Poison Tree

I was angry with my friend

I told my wrath,my wrath did end

I was angry with my foe

I told it not.my wrath did grow

 

And I watered it in fears

Night and morning with tears

And I sunned it with smiles

With soft deceitful wiles

 

And it grew both day and night

Till it bore an apple bright

And my foe beheld it shine

And he knew it was mine

 

And into my garden stole

When the night had veiled the pole

In the morning glad I see

My foe outstretched beneath the tree

我说出了我的愤怒，我的愤怒消失了

我很生气我的敌人

我不说出我的愤怒，我的愤怒滋生了

 

然后我用恐惧灌溉它

晚上早上伴随着我的眼泪

然后我用笑容照耀它

伴随着温柔虚假的诡计

 

然后它白天夜晚都在成长

一直到结了一颗漂亮的苹果

然后我的敌人羡慕它的耀眼

然后他知道它是我的

 

然后进来我的花园偷走

当夜幕遮住了北极星

在早晨的时候我很开心地看到

我的敌人四肢展开死在那棵树下）

一期：He settled it with his friend by telling his freind his truth feelings.

鹤丸：He try to scare his friend.

莺丸：He drink tea with his friend and tell him about Okanehira.

宗三：He feel very sad just like a bird in the cage.

江雪：He tell his friend love and peace.

4.Is this title suit the poem?Explain your answer.

一期：Yes.The poison tree just indicates someone's wrath if he keep on bottled up his feelings.

宗三：No. It should be the bird in cage.

鹤丸：I dont know what are you saying but this is fun!

莺丸：Everything without tea is not suitable.Why dont you add some words about tea?

烛台切：No.This is because I am going to make apple pie as dinner and everyone now keep on asking me is the apple I am using is poisonous or not.Aruji you should apologised if everyone refuse to eat my Mitsusada's special apple pie.
